A utility contractor operating in a remote industrial area in Africa required a reliable solution to strengthen the local power distribution network. The site was facing unstable supply conditions and limited capacity to support new industrial and infrastructure loads.
To address this, we supplied and delivered a high-voltage oil-immersed power transformer designed for outdoor installation and long-term continuous operation in harsh environments.
The transformer was installed on a reinforced concrete foundation as part of a new substation setup. On-site conditions included high dust exposure, strong sunlight, and limited maintenance access—making reliability a key requirement.
After installation and commissioning, the unit was successfully energized and integrated into the local grid system. It now operates alongside a nearby solar power installation, helping to stabilize power output and improve overall energy reliability for the area.
Since commissioning, the system has been running steadily with no major issues reported, and has significantly improved the stability of local power distribution.
